Experienced Professional Consulting

Welcome

Together, we can find out why your plans are not happening.  Let's talk about next steps.

Rose's Legacy Statement

A leadership advisor who helps organizations solve their toughest people and business challenges by translating decades of executive and HR experience into practical, actionable solutions.

The Technical Stuff

For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of serving organizations throughout New York's Capital Region as an HR and leadership advisor, executive coach, speaker, and author. While my work has focused on policies, leadership, and workplace strategy, my true impact has been helping organizations create healthier cultures, develop stronger leaders, and make better decisions about people.

Expertise

Every manager coached, every HR professional mentored, every business guided, and every employee who benefited from a more respectful and effective workplace represents a small part of the legacy I hope to leave. I believe the measure of my career is not the number of presentations I've delivered or books I've written, but the lasting influence those conversations have had on the people and organizations I've been fortunate enough to serve.

HR Executive and Entrepreneur

Rose is best known in New York's Capital Region as an experienced HR executive, consultant, and business advisor with more than 25 years in human resources, finance, and executive leadership. Rose founded and led Pinnacle Human Resources, LLC, growing it into a well-known HR consulting firm serving organizations throughout the region before later transitioning to Suite Advice, LLC, which focuses on C-suite advisory services for small and mid-sized businesses.

Rose’s current practice positions her as more than an HR consultant. Suite Advice helps executives navigate strategic initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor, sounding board, and guide for leadership teams facing complex organizational challenges.

Speaker and Educator

Rose holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), one of the profession's most recognized senior-level certifications.

Over the years, Rose has been a frequent presenter for business organizations throughout the Capital Region, speaking on topics such as:

  • Employment law implementation
  • Recruiting and retention
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • HR trends
  • Leadership
  • Workplace culture

Rose has presented to organizations including the Capital Region Chamber Business U, Capital Region HR Association, NYS SHRM and other national associations where she has led workshops for employers and nonprofit leaders.

HR Thought Leader and Leadership in the HR Community

Rose’s public profile reflects a long-standing commitment to making HR practical and strategic. Through the Work Matters column in the Albany Times Union newspaper, LinkedIn articles, business publications, speaking engagements, and educational programming, Rose has advocated for HR as a strategic leadership function rather than simply an administrative department. One example is her published article arguing that HR should report directly to the CEO rather than the CFO.

Rose has been active in the Capital Region HR community for many years, including serving on the board of the Capital Region Human Resource Association (affiliated with SHRM), Northern Rivers Family Services, and the NENY chapter of the Red Cross.

In addition to Rose’s consulting and speaking, she is an author. Rose published Rose's Recipes for Business: A Tasty Blend of HR Lessons Learned, which uses food analogies to teach HR and leadership concepts. The book is available through Amazon and Audible.

Rose's Recipe for Business

Rose is President of Suite Advice, LLC and the former President of Pinnacle Human Resources, which she sold in October 2021. With a background in finance, human resources, and consulting for over thirty years, Rose specializes in C-Suite advisory and consulting services to small/medium size businesses. Her experience, knowledge and skills help C-Suite leadership find solutions to initiatives, that for multiple reasons, are not moving forward.

As an entrepreneur, Rose grew Pinnacle HR, LLC from a staff of three to thirty consultants. Rose and staff delivered both strategic and tactical HR solutions to their clients. Their work with hundreds of clients and their employees are the true stories told in this book. All names are always withheld! Prior to owning Pinnacle HR, Rose held top HR and Finance leadership roles throughout the Northeast. She has led strategic initiatives such as organizational change, mergers/acquisitions, system implementations, culture/engagement improvements, training programs, and operational improvements- always focusing on how the people-side of business impacts plans. At Suite Advice, she has brought together a collection of subject-matter experts to provide targeted solutions to businesses.

Rose is a frequently requested speaker both locally and nationally. She is the author of a monthly column “Work Matters” in the Business section of the Albany Times Union, a Hearst Publication and her articles also appear in many other business journals. In 2018, she launched a podcast series, The Thorn in Rose’s Side which has a growing audience of followers on iTunes and Soundcloud.

Rose is a graduate of Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and is a certified Senior Professional in HR. She serves on many Board of Directors for local non-profits and she is passionate about causes such as children welfare, women’s rights and the arts. Rose is also passionate about food, family and friends. She is married and has two sons, who also live in New York’s Capital Region. They entertain often in their home in Albany and when boating on Sleepy Hollow Lake in Athens, NY.
